Canadian Privacy Notice (PIPEDA)

This notice supplements our EU GDPR Privacy Policy for individuals in Canada. We process personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. What we collect

When you submit a case-review form we may collect: name, email, phone number, approximate location derived from phone country code / IP, quiz answers, cookie consent choice, and advertising click identifiers (if present in the URL).

2. Purposes

• Respond to your recovery enquiry and contact you by phone/email
• Operate the website (essential cookies) and, only if you accept, analytics/marketing cookies
• Fraud prevention and security logging

3. Consent

By submitting the form you consent to processing for the stated purposes. Cookie non-essential use requires Accept on the cookie banner; Reject limits us to essential cookies. You may withdraw consent by emailing [email protected].

4. Cross-border transfers

Your information may be processed on servers in the EEA or by subprocessors outside Canada. We apply contractual and organizational safeguards appropriate under PIPEDA / Law 25.

5. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, and complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec where Law 25 applies).
